How long had Dr. Lamb been in practice?: Dr. Lamb has spent over twenty years in the area performing cosmetic surgery. In the summer of 1998, The Plastic Surgery Technology Center, a state licensed and Medicare certified facility, was opened to better address the needs of his cosmetic surgery clientele. Dr. Lamb brings a wealth of knowledge to every patient and would love to talk to you about your cosmetic procedure.
Is Dr. Lamb Board-Certified?: Dr. Lamb is Board-Certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a member of the American Society for Aesthetic for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
How do I know if cosmetic surgery is right for me?: Dr. Lamb believes that the best candidates for cosmetic surgery are patients who are in good health and have realistic expectations of what is possible. To understand your options and determine if a procedure is right for you, schedule a consultation with Dr. Lamb. He will spend the time necessary to answer all of your questions and make sure you are comfortable with the procedure.
Is there a consultation fee to meet with Dr. Lamb?: Yes, the intial consultation fee for your visit with Dr. Lamb is $50. Any surgical procedure done after the consultation is reduced by the $50 consultation fee.
How long does the consultation take?: Dr. Lamb will take as much time as necessary for you to feel comfortable with the procedure. You should plan on the consultation taking at least 30 minutes.
What days of the week does Dr. Lamb perform consultations?: Dr. Lamb has clinic on Monday and Friday.
How long after my consultation can the cosmetic surgery be booked?: You can book your surgery the same day as your consultation. A fee of $750 is due at the time of booking the surgery. You must come in for a pre-op visit 2 weeks prior to the surgery and full payment of the surgery costs are due at the time of the pre-op visit. If you are using a financing company we must receive approval paperwork prior to booking your surgery.
Does your office provide financing for the procedure?: Yes, financing is available through Care Credit, Capital One, Surgery Loans.com and APF Services. You can complete an application in our office or go home and apply online. Additionally, Dr. Lamb has started a surgical layaway plan for patients. You can decide on the type of surgery and cost and then make weekly or monthly payments until you have accumulated enough of a balance to pay for the surgery. It’s a great way to eliminate any financing fees or interest costs.
What hospitals are Dr Lamb affiliated with?: Dr. Lamb is affiliated with Centerpoint Medical Center, Centerpoint Surgery Center, and St. Mary’s Surgery Center.
Is there parking available near the office?: Yes, there is parking right outside the main entrance. Dr. Lamb also provides an alternative entrance for patients who come for a follow up visit after surgery so they do not have to go through the main waiting area.
