Sculptra® Aesthetic

Sculptra is a newer product here at the Healthylooks Med Spa used to restore the fullness and youthfulness of your face. Your face is one of the first things people will notice, and as you age, you will lose collagen and begin to experience skin depressions such as wrinkles, creases and folds. Sculptra may be able to help you with these problems.

Sculptra is injected below the surface of your skin and provides a gradual increase in skin thickness by stimulating growth in collagen in these depressed areas. As your body produces this collagen, your facial skin will regain its youthful and natural looking appearance. The initial effects of your Sculptra treatment will be noticeable about one month following your injection and the collagen will continue to grow for the next four to six months. The best part is that early studies have suggested that the treatments can last up to two years.

Unlike surgical options, Sculptra can have you back on your feet that same day. Immediately following a treatment session with Sculptra, you can expect to have some redness, swelling, pain and bruising in the treatment areas. These signs will usually subside within a few hours to a few days.
