If insecurities brought you to this website, repeat after me: I AM BEAUTIFUL, AND I AM PROUD OF MY BODY.

We want you to feel your best, and we understand the desire to reduce stubborn areas of fat. CoolSculpting is a non-surgical treatment that uses controlled cooling to eliminate targeted fat cells.

How Does CoolSculpting Work?

Cryolipolysis, the freezing of fat cells, is the technology behind CoolSculpting. Harvard scientists observed that children who ate popsicles developed dimples in their cheeks. The popsicles were freezing, therefore killing, small pockets of fat cells. The idea that cold can target fat cells without damaging the skin or surrounding tissues was the insight behind Cryolipolysis, the proven science on which the CoolSculpting procedure is based.

What Happens to the Frozen Fat Cells?

With each treatment, CoolSculpting freezes, and therefore kills, about 20-25% of the fat cells in the treated area. The body recognizes the dead fat cells and rids itself of them through its natural elimination process. This process takes up to 90 days to complete, so full results are seen about 90 days after the CoolSculpting treatment. Once the cells are gone, they’re gone for good!

Is There Downtime with CoolSculpting?

Each cycle of CoolSculpting takes about 40 minutes. There is no downtime, and you can resume normal activity immediately after CoolSculpting.

There are two types of fat: subcutaneous and visceral. Subcutaneous fat is squishy whereas visceral fat is tough (“beer belly” type of fat.) CoolSculpting is effective on subcutaneous fat, so if you can squeeze it, we can freeze it!
