They work together. Healthylooks Medspa and Wellness offers aesthetic treatments and provider-guided wellness care, and your plan can draw on both. See our full wellness overview.
Many consultations and follow-up appointments may be available virtually when clinically and legally appropriate.
Depending on your individual needs, a plan may include peptide or other wellness therapies, hormone optimization when appropriate, nutrition recommendations, supplement support, exercise recommendations, recovery strategies, sleep optimization, lifestyle modifications, and additional testing or monitoring.
Beyond standard blood work we offer hormone testing, food sensitivity testing, and GI mapping. See our specialized testing options.

Hormone Replacement Therapy
Symptoms alone are not enough. Because hormone symptoms can overlap with other health conditions, we begin with a comprehensive evaluation that includes your symptoms, health history, and appropriate laboratory testing. Hormone therapy is recommended only when it is clinically appropriate for you. See the full evaluation process.
Men often ask about lower energy, reduced libido, changes in erectile function, decreased muscle mass or strength, increased body fat, mood changes, and difficulty concentrating. Women often ask about menstrual cycle changes, hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disruption, mood changes, brain fog, vaginal or urinary symptoms, changes in libido, and changes in body composition. Read more on the HRT page.
We order the appropriate baseline labs based on your health history and goals. Lab orders can be completed through Labcorp, which has patient service centers nationwide.
Your initial consultation is approximately 60 to 90 minutes and may be completed virtually when appropriate. It reviews your symptoms, history, laboratory results, goals, risks, benefits, and available treatment options.
Follow-up testing is customized around your therapy and clinical needs. A common schedule is approximately 3 months after starting or making meaningful treatment changes, again around 6 months, and then approximately every 6 months when stable, unless your provider recommends otherwise.
When a prescription is part of your treatment plan, Healthylooks Wellness works with appropriately licensed pharmacy partners. Compounded medications, when prescribed, are prepared by qualified compounding pharmacies operating under applicable federal and state requirements. Medication selection and pharmacy sourcing depend on the individual prescription, availability, patient needs, and provider judgment.
When applicable, prescribed medications can be shipped directly to your door. Clear dosing instructions, education, and coaching are built into your care plan.
No. Hormone therapy is an ongoing process. As your biology, symptoms, goals, medications, and health history change, your plan may change too. Our team continues to monitor progress, review results, and adjust treatment when clinically appropriate.
Peptide Therapies
A peptide is a short chain of amino acids. Many peptides occur naturally within the human body and act as signaling molecules that help cells communicate.
No. We recommend starting with your goals rather than choosing a specific peptide yourself. Your provider can review your history and determine which options, if any, make sense for you.
No. Different peptides interact with different receptors and biological pathways. A peptide researched for skin health may work very differently from one involved in growth hormone or metabolic signaling.
It depends on your health history and the therapy being considered. Your provider will determine which laboratory tests are appropriate before and during treatment.
Some patients may have more than one component to their wellness plan. Your provider will review your complete medication and treatment regimen before determining which therapies can appropriately be incorporated together. Learn more about Hormone Replacement Therapy.
Your provider may evaluate peptide-related and metabolic pathways as part of a broader wellness strategy. Investigational peptides should not be confused with FDA-approved medications used for chronic weight management. Visit our Medical Weight Loss section to learn more.
There isn't one answer for every patient. The appropriate treatment duration depends on the therapy, your health history, goals, response, available evidence, and your provider's recommendations.
The answer depends on the specific peptide and intended use. Many peptides promoted within wellness, performance, recovery, and longevity medicine are investigational or are not FDA-approved for those purposes. We believe patients deserve to understand the difference between established therapies and emerging research before making treatment decisions.
Virtual consultations may be available when clinically and legally appropriate.
Call or text our team at 913-456-3330. You don't need to know which peptide you want. Tell us your goals, and we'll help you determine the appropriate next step.

Important Information
Peptide therapies are not appropriate for everyone. The evidence, availability, formulation, and regulatory status of individual peptides vary and may change over time.
Many peptides discussed within wellness, performance, recovery, body-composition, and healthy-aging settings remain investigational or are not FDA-approved for those specific uses. Human clinical evidence may be limited for certain therapies.
