What is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is a nonsurgical answer to stubborn fat. It uses controlled cooling to freeze and eliminate fat cells.
Is CoolSculpting a fat removal surgery?
No, there is no surgery with CoolSculpting. The treatment is done at our facility and takes as little as 35 minutes!
What is Cryolipolysis?
Cryolipolysis is the technology behind CoolSculpting. The technology was discovered after Harvard scientists found that children who ate popsicles developed dimples in their cheeks– the popsicles were freezing, therefore killing, small pockets of fat cells. The idea that cold can target fat cells — without damaging the skin or surrounding tissues — was the insight behind cryolipolysis, the proven science on which the CoolSculpting procedure is based.
Does CoolSculpting work?
Yes! We have treated over 1,000 patients with CoolSculpting, and most of our patients have come back to CoolSculpt other areas of their bodies after seeing positive results. The majority of our staff members have also been treated, so we are happy to discuss our experience and results with any interested patients.

Is there downtime after treatment?
There is NO downtime associated with CoolSculpting. Our patients return to their normal lifestyle immediately after being treated with CoolSculpting.
How much does CoolSculpting cost?

How long does CoolSculpting treatment take?
The treatment takes as little as 35 minutes. However, if treating a larger area, the average treatment time is 2-3 hours.
When will I see CoolSculpting results?
Fat cells die once they are frozen, and your body rids itself of the dead fat cells through a natural elimination process. That process takes 90 days, but you may see results as early as 60 days after treatment.
Can I freeze my belly fat?
Yes! The most common treatment area is the abdomen and flanks, or “love handles.” However, it’s important to understand that there are 2 types of body fat: visceral and subcutaneous. Visceral fat is the tough, “beer belly” type fat. Subcutaneous fat is squishy fat that you can pinch. We can only CoolSculpt subcutaneous fat. So we say, “if you can squeeze it, we can freeze it!
Does CoolSculpting work on my double chin?
Absolutely! We can treat a small area, like the chin. CoolSculpting is a great option for patients that have stubborn submental fat (which is usually a hereditary trait.)
Can I CoolSculpt my thighs?
Yep, sure can. We can treat inner and outer thighs with CoolSculpting.
Does CoolSculpting work on arms?
YES- such a game changer. We love seeing arm results with CoolSculpting!
Is CoolSculpting for men and women?
Yes! CoolSculpting is for everyone- all genders and ages. At our practice, we see 60% women and 40% men. Most of our men CoolSculpt their pectoral region, chin, abdomen and flanks.
