What does CoolSculpting feel like?

CoolSculpting is a very tolerable procedure. It does not require numbing prior to treatment. The CoolSculpting applicator has suction and cooling technology. During application, the CoolSculpting applicator suctions onto the skin. Once correctly applied, our technician, Melissa, starts the cooling process. You will feel the applicator cooling down and your skin getting cold. It feels similar to applying a frozen ice pack. The treatment area becomes numb about 5 minutes into the procedure. After 35 minutes, Melissa removes the applicator and gently massages the treatment area. Tingling is normal as the skin is returning to its normal temperature. The feeling is similar to putting your hands in warm water after being outside in the winter.
